PUBLIC SALE

SHAREcenter was established almost 30 years ago. We are a completely self funded program. We raise revenue through memberships, grants, fundraisers and benefactors.

SHAREcenter's mission is to Rescue Reusable Resources by collecting items that businesses, colleges, schools and the public are going to throw away and provide them to our members for use in their programs. SHAREcenter serves schools and nonprofits. These different groups pay a nominal annual membership fee. All members of these organizations can then come and gather the items that have been rescued to supplement their program.

We collect and organize rescued materials that include but are not limited to: arts & crafts, office supplies, new clothing, school supplies, and STEAM materials. We also have office and school furniture.

To request an application from our office, please email sharecenterme@gmail.com to have an application sent to your organization.

Public and Private School Memberships: $3.00 per student and $3.00 per staff
Minimum Fee: $600

Non-Profit Memberships: $600 Annually

For-Profit Memberships: $1,000 Annually

Homeschool Families and Co-ops: $150 fee for the 1st two children and $50 fee for each additional child.

For-Profit Daycares: $25 per child
Minimum Fee: $250

Membership applications are starting to arrive back to the center. Here are the schools and non-profits that we have received membership packets and payments from thus far. Opening day at the center is Tuesday, August 12th. Please make sure your school is signed up before this date to ensure that your staff can shop when we reopen for the school year. Applications were emailed out at the beginning of the summer. If you would like an application resent, please email us at sharecenterme@gmail.com.

Store Hours:
Opening for the 2025-2026 school year on Tuesday, August 12th. Please check with your building/program administrator to make sure that your organization's membership is paid prior to opening week.

Regular Business Hours for SHAREcenter Members: Tuesdays & Wednesdays 2 to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 to noon

Donations: Donations are accepted during our regular business hours or by appointment. If you need an alternative time to drop off your donation, please email our staff at sharecenterme@gmail.com or call our office at 312-3810

Inclement Weather Policy: If the local schools are closed due to unsafe road conditions then the SHAREcenter is also closed.

Holidays: The SHAREcenter will be closed for holidays and all school vacation weeks.

Items picked up at the SHAREcenter are intended to be utilized by the programs and organizations of our members, not for personal use.
SHAREcenter membership privileges do not extend to family or friends.
Members may visit the center multiple times throughout the school year.
Please be reasonable about the quantity of materials that you take as we have other programs and schools that also need access to these materials.

Furniture is stored off site. Furniture viewing is done by appointment only. If you are interested in a piece, please email our team at sharecenterme@gmail.com or call 312-3810. Delivery is available for a fee.

The SHAREcenter is always happy to have volunteers come in and assist us with the many essential tasks that keep our organization running. Some jobs include but are not limited to:

Shelving donations in the store
Assisting shoppers
Receiving and sorting donations
Organizing and labeling shelves
Helping members load their materials
Assisting with special events
